As the recession keeps rolling shoppers are starting to find smarter ways to shop. In 2006 I was in a daze to see women wearing leggings similar to teeny boppers of the 80s. Leggings was that piece of clothing that a woman can thrown on the go and wear in different colors. In 2009, the world discovers Jeggings (jean + leggings) with pockets and color blends to match the jeans. For years, most women consider jeans to be a nightmare, when it comes to fit, length, color, and cut in the legs. To the eye jeggings are like skinny jeans, but with a comfort to fit all shapes. So this year I came across the new legging called “Treggings” which are a combination of leggings with trouser. Treggings pack a more comfortable fabric for the skin and could be worn alone with any top. As shapes continue to change more people are leaning toward different type of leggings for fit. In these hard times women are suffering from the economy many challenges and I believe the trend will continue to grow in the world of fashion.
