Boots are Rising

By definition a boot is a type of footwear that can be worn to the ankle, calf, knee or over. It main purpose is to cover the foot from natural causes and also during bitter conditions. Most boots have a heel while others are flat on the ground. This past fall, I could not help the rise of boots among so many women in Boston. At first the fall choice of boots are ankle and thigh boots in brown and other cools but not black. As it got close to December the height of boots grew from the fall to be over the knee and more. Most of the hottest styles come in black with buckles, and ties to give them that vintage or edgy look. I recommend DSW and Famous Footwear were most of my friends seem to find them.  As a designer I believe a woman should wear them with Liquid, Cotton, or Shinny Leggings, skinny jeans, or a mini skirt that won’t have you looking like a tramp. If you are going to go fitted on the bottom, remember to loosen up clothing on top with plenty of accessories. Don’t be left out, rise to the occasion and get thigh or over the knee boots if they fit your style.
